I don't laugh at the Coot's false stack. It provides headroom for transiting between saloon and pilothouse, as well as containing the propane tank for the stove.

Here with tank and top of stack not installed:

Some people have some nerve struttin' their fake stack around.

Our stack serves as an ER vent, place to put the hydro crane pump, and base for rod holders. This is a real stack! (Notice it's outline in the distance) Edit: I forgot the #1 use for the stack of course is our engine exhaust!
