I heard Travelers has a policy that also covers engine and equipment failure. Not sure what it is called. Maybe Incidental benefits. Anybody got ideas?

Yup.

What is and is not covered is always per the policy language. Travelers does cover engine failure depending on the nature of the failure. Some equipment is covered for repair, but not all. Consequential damage is usually covered (loss as a result of another failure). There is coverage for theft of electronics and personal effects.

Other policies cover in a similar manner. In short, one would have to read the policy language to find out the specifics.

Such policies typically cover, sudden and catastrophic failure, not just plain wear. Electrical items are often excluded and there is a deductible of course. All of which means that only your engine or genset is going to be covered and only if it melts a piston or similar event.
