I'm currently looking at 19' 1984 i/o runabout. Ebbtide is the builder.
350 Mercruiser engine, Mercruiser outdrive. It would become our bigger tow behind runabout fun-boat (current one - for 7 years - is 15' Crestliner o/b) All in all this Ebbtide boat seems to be really, really good condition.
I'm looking to learn some about Ebbtide builder's construction-quality for boats built in the 1980's (Ebbtide still builds boats today). Specifically... I'd like to know if transom was plywood cored with cold lam FRP and what the stringer's core contained - e.g. wood or dense foam?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks! - Art
