My twin Cummins 330's burn about a gallon every 2 miles (both engines) just below hull speed which is about 7.5 kts and a gallon per mile at planning speed which is about 16 kts.
BINGO!!! Of course I have basically the same boat. But a 37 foot boat with that much power would fall into the same range of fuel burn. The hull shape would determine the performance!
