Sounds like you are going to end up buying that 37'er even if you buy the 32'er first. So save yourself some money and skip a step and just get the 37'er now. Heck, if you can swing it, skip two steps and get the N42. Im just trying to save you money.

At Bahia Mar for FLIBS this year, was looking for an acquaintance that had a 40 something sport fisher for sale - asked a seemingly knowledgable local where I might find it - told me it would be with the "small boats" over at pier whatever. Got me recalibrated on my 43.

There is a cure for the bigger boat syndrome. Have a custom boat built. When you finish paying for that and realize that you can't sell it for half what you paid you are unlikely to consider a bigger hole in the water to throw your money into.

That's the list for my Cpatain and me. ST 44 purchase was just finalized last week after a sea trail on the Long Island Sound - 30 mph winds and 4' plus seas. I said to my Captain " Is this our last boat?" - She responded - "No we will move down to a Grady when we can't cruise anymore".

Good luck on you search - if you think 32' just fits - move up because you will need the extra elbow room?

I know your pain, we started looking at 50ft, down to 40, now back to 50! We just don't know what to do. But, a big part of "our" dilemma is not so much the cost of the boat but the cost/availability of a 40 vs 50ft slip to keep her in for "life". That payment that will never go away as long as we own her
Happy Hunting - check out "Bligh's" Nordic - awesome
