Guy crash his sailboat in Redondo Beach

Last week I had my boss in town, he lilkes seafood so I take him to the Torrance pier and we dine at a place called Old Tony's on the Pier.

We were looking at the surf and discussing how rough it looked.

To me it kinda looked like riptides coming in and the winds were strong as well.

30 minutes later we see blue sirens in the water near Redondo Beach marina jetty.

Then the fire department shows up and later a USGC helicopter.

Turned out a guy lost control of a sailboat and crashed it onto the rocks..

Retired firefighter saw this unveil and went to rescue the guy.
