Luckily no life threatening injuries. One of the crew was airlifted to hospital though, so quite serious. The others waited for ground transportation, two with injuries, one without, though no specifics in the news reports.

Dramatic picture!

When you meet one of the RCMSAR members, remember that they are volunteers. This was a training run, on which something went wrong. These folks put their lives in danger to learn how to get you off the rocks without putting your life at risk.

I'm glad to hear that no one was seriously injured.

And yes they are volunteers who need to practice and once in a while things go haywire.

That also, like it or not is how the system is improved. Not by getting hurt hopefully , but the mistakes.

Hope they get on OK.
