In talking to my friend tonight, I realize that writing about my adventures, helps give me a focus when I am all alone.
Also, it helps my learning process, in that I really have to think about what happened and why.

I know what you mean about that weightless feeling, when the waves are on the nose we also sleep in the salon settee.

Writers experience things the rest of us miss.

Both are more mindful of what is going on around them than the average person.

If wave-slap is bothersome in the main (forward) cabin, we sleep in the saloon. Nevertheless, there are times I need to close the sink's hull-valve to avoid wave-caused gurgles coming from the galley sink.
