Government Cut, Apalachicola FL

Hi All -
So has anyone crossed Government Cut in the last month or since Hurricane Michael? I am looking at a boat to purchase near there and would pass it on my transit back to NC. Doubt I want to take it, as unfavorable comments outnumber the favorable ones. However, curious for anyone with recent experience on it.

Again, if the purchase goes through, I am unlikely to pilot said purchase near any hazards, preferring just to wrap it in plastic and not touch it at all, but that’s not why we buy boat now, is it?
