That is a shaft bearing or intermediate bearing.

If it needs to be replaced there are far better units available that can change out the working bearing with only simple disassembly , no need to pull the shaft.

If needed an abrasive wheel and mucho time can cut what is shown apart , the split housing bearing installed.
