The marina where we kept our previous boat at was supposedly holding a slip for us.
I even tried to start paying slip rent to hold it until we got the new boat there. They even told me I had first right of refusal.
Well, guess what. According to the manager, the owner rented the slip to a "friend" and they had an available slip out front on fixed docks where the current is a b**ch.
Anyway, we went up river and got a nicer slip at a different marina.
