Fruitful opener

Marine area 8 opened for Dungeness crab yesterday at 6AM. We were headed back in to the cooking pots with limits by 9:30. I have not seen them that thick in recent memory.

Good to know the crabs are around in numbers. We're doing a two-day crabbing trip in our small boat next weekend to our favorite location which has always been extremely productive in the past. We'll have four licences on the boat so that's 20 crabs per day.
