On the T&T list there is a current discussion about the notion of converting the T& T list to a forum-type format.* There are pros and cons of doing this, but there have been a couple of posts (including mine) that mention this Trawler Forum by name.* Might be a good opportunity to do a little promoting of this site and get some more participants......

Good to hear from some support, seems like if you dont go along with the regulars on T&T then you get flamed.
Quite a few are worried about bandwith but they never complain about all the bandwith wasted by useless posts like* "ode to the LCD" or "new engine development...boat gets 200 miles per gallon"

Nope you get BANNED .
The purpose of the TT board is to collect enough "following" to sell to any one wanting to create a new magazine.
Circumnavigator , the total BS mag that is a 100% a boat advertisement was the first.
ANY comment that might show a future advertiser builds trash (Jabsco Macerators for example) will get you banned.

Marin, great point made about the GB forum....No one attacks people about promoting that.
I just have never heard so many people piss and moan about having to browse a forum....
