Thanks to Super Storm Sandy, we have to replace the canvas enclosure on our 43' trawler. Does anyone know of a good canvas shop in the NJ or Chesapeake area? Any idea what the cost will be for a flybridge and sundeck enclosure?

There are hundreds...care to be more specific WHERE you would like it done?

And there are good fabric guys and there are great fabric guys...the great ones are always more money and usually in high boating traffic areas.

You'll know the great ones by the type of boats they work on and how long they have been around.

usually don't say that about too many boating trades.

In the Chesapeake I strongly recommend Lighthouse Canvas in Middle River MD. The PO of my boat had everything done by them and the quality is extremely high. So much so that my highly regarded canvas guy here in NC made the comment the other day, "whoever made these curtains was really good!"

We cracked one of the EZ2CY panels a few years ago due to klutziness, we happened to be going back up through Baltimore and the guy came and made the replacement quickly and reasonably.
