I don't know where you can find used bench seats but I just received the new Garelick catalog and they have added some nice looking bench seats. Unfortunately it looks like they don't have them up on their website yet.
If you want to email me through my company website, www.hopkins-carter.com, I'll scan the catalog page and email it to you.

Years ago, I came across a thread on another site about this very subject. What I gathered was that short folks were in favor of captain's chairs as they can adjust the height. Some of them with bench type seating had to sit on homemade booster seats to see over the venturi. I also remember someone very opposed to captain's seats saying that with bench seating his honey can sit right beside him. So I thought that he had a valid point until the guy with the captain's chair responded with "my honey sits on my lap". So, your choice.

What dis you do to the sides where the seats were glassed into the bridge? Mine looks similar;however, i have problems leaking up top now... Just fill them in witj glass and run drains off of the top ?

Sorry I forgot to mention I did fill in the seatback area...and I need to trim the aft corner of the plexi to match the flybridge fairing angle for better looks.

Plus it needs paint and vents over the small holes

Boating catalogs are full of boat seating options. Marine stores carry the more common items and can order much more. I suggest a couple catalogs or in-person visits.

Even though its a motor boat , weight high up sucks.

Build light and if the seating has storage ,

It is not the place to store 300 ft of chain for coral areas.
