Ferry waits for traffic

Crossing on the Kingston Ferry Saturday, we waited for these freighters. There were actually three in a row coming down the traffic lanes toward Seattle traveling >20 knots.

A little off topic - I think we watched those three ships take pilots aboard in Port Angeles Saturday morning. Certainly we saw the distinctive orange car carrier. The pilots and pilot boat operators were earning their paychecks, it was VERY rough and it looked like they had green water on their PH windows...I think the pilot boat is 72' LOA !
