Fire Drill

We had a fire drill on the dock today.

Even though we have a fire station right outside the marina, the captain said that by the time the engines got there and got the hoses hooked up and going, the second boat would have caught fire. I'm thinking that's still ptretty good (unless it was your boat). KJ

What about one on the other side? Couldn't there be 3 boats on fire?

KJ I think it's awesome that the fire department is doing drills there. Our fire department just got put to the test a couple weeks ago when a brush fire blew into a local marina. Luckily they established a line on the levee between the docks and property. Only boats lost where on trailers, had the fire made it to the covered docks and fuel bunkers an ugly situation could have been much worse.
