cold play

We have been on Ice breaking escort fun for the last few weeks in the Hudson River,NY. Oil companies will hire us to break ice for tug/barge units.

Do you ever see any deer in those woods. I'd have to bring my .308 and snipe a few for the freezer.

Didn't the Atlantic Salvor take a bullet through a pilothouse window near NYC harbor awhile back???

Maybe mentioning rifles is a bad thing....

Yes it did. I wasn't on at the time. So if they were looking for me , they missed!

We see deer frequently. Lots of bald eagles too.

How far up river are you?

I truly wish I was there.

While I've gotten a lot of work done on the boat in warm/hot weather, I do miss winter and am sorry I missed out on one of the hardest winters in the NE in a long time.

Julie and I would certainly have driven to Niagara Falls to see them frozen.

We are sitting in Albany now. That is the head of navigation for larger vsls. Should be sailing later this morn. heade to Port Newark with a crane barge, drop off and escort one of our other boats up to Coeymans to pick up stone barges for Tappan Zee bridge project.
