Hollywood, was that your previous boat? Like to see more more photos if you have some?

We took care of her for 10 years... she now lives the comfy life tucked in a boathouse in fresh water in Portland.. I miss her and all we could do with her.

She's gorgeous - did you do the conversion or did you literally mean you took care of her, didn't own her? That's the only boat I've seen in a while that might get me to buy a woodie. Thank you.

This one is lovely up close but I don't care for the lines on the wheelhouse. He has very cleverly left the table in place but has installed steps in it so it can be lowered as a swim platform. Ladner Lass.

She looks like a Wahl Boat. If you're anxious, Xsbank, there's lots of "projects" for sale in the PNW!

What do you mean by table? Do you mean stern ramp?

Jim,

We did own her, got her from the builder,he really wanted me to have her and waited a few years for us to buy her. never a fish boat always a yacht, built in California in the late 60's... 3000+nm range!, 2.2gph @7.9kts.

Had a thruster and slow speed handling was a chore.. the Admiral is a awesome boat driver but hated skippering her.. She loves driving the new Ocean Alex.. happy wife.. happy life

XS,
that is a damn good looking boat.. I actually like the house lines... except the railings over the pilot house do muck up the look.. and more pics anywhere?

Ladner Lass was a table seiner and that contraption on the stern pivots downwards. I'll look for more photos of her.

I actually have a boat I am quite pleased with but her looks don't stir my blood like Hollywood's (previous) boat.

I certainly understand "making the Admiral happy" as a way to personal happiness.

Eric, that is a spectacular picture on so many levels.

The beauty of boating on the Potomac is being able to anchor or tie up practically in the shadow of the Washington Monument. Here is a picture on a dreary day over the bow of Moonstruck.

Tucked into a little bay on Hardy Island. This picture reminds me of the pleasures of boating in my area and also why I stay out if the anchoring threads.

Nothing like being stern tied into a small, isloted little bay with nobody else around

Somewhere in the Gulf Is there are mooring anchors in what I recall as sandstone expressly for the purpose of stern tying.

I've never done it. I was tempted several times but I often arrive to anchorages late and all that fuss'in around may not have fit in. With anchors that do better than most at short scope I can anchor in 100' of water. Given enough swinging room.

Nice pics Murray and Spy.

Spy is your NT the type w a single height cabin? Like my Willy? I'd like to see more pics of your boat.j

There are many if them all along the coast. Some are left over from tying up log booms.
