Ever happen to you?

Coast Guard crews have found a dog wearing a life jacket in the water off Salt Spring Island. Searching for the owner.

No, but I accidentally shot my older brother once while hunting. He took a couple pellets in the thigh and was fine. Really, really pissed, but fine.

On a brighter note, he hasn't bothered me since.

I used to etch my cell ph number onto the dog's collar vaccination tag. Easy to find the owner that way as long as the collar stays on.

Dad's shepherd mix went missing between Key West and Boca Grande Key (long time ago). She turned up on local radio after finder reported having possession. Left her home another time only to find her gone when they returned. Went back out and found her paddling around somewhere between Big Coppitt home and Mud Keys. Would leave a boat at any speed to pursue a cormorant on the wing. Little confusion when she first came home. Sam turned out to be Samantha.

Our dog never leaves my wife's shadow, never even needs a leash!
