Do you drive a boat?

Well it is probably just me, but I don't think so.

You pilot a boat.

You operate a boat.

You steer a boat.

You run a boat.

You drive a car.

Correct me please!

I believe all boats but sea ray's are "piloted." If you own a sea ray however, they are "driven" and when you dock you put out "bumpers."

Is going in reverse--backing down-- or putting on the brakes?

Yeah but not before you stop in the kitchen to make a snack and maybe make a pitstop in the bathroom down below too.

Just kidding- lots of my friends have sea rays! *

RE: Do you drive a boat?

I "drive the big bus"

Actually people from the dock will say..."I'm going to run over to (where ever)"

I say..."I'm going to crawl over"
