Does anyone have any insight into the Davis International Trawlers? Looking for any info: where they were built, how they have held up (late 70's vintage), construction method, etc.

Thanks,

A Google of the Davis name doesn't show a lot, but it turns up a 42 footer on Yachtworld which may the subject of your inquiry.

If you are looking at a project boat, here's another one that showed up in my search.*
$34k for a 42 footer ??* It going to need a lot of work

The connection with the Defever name would almost certainly mean it's a Tiawanese boat, where the "caveat emptor" rule applies in spades. There are many threads regarding what to look for.*

A while back I posted this link from PM which gives a little history on our boats:

Good hunting!
