Cruising photos

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

I believe so but without it blowing 30 and raining like a mother it is hard to tell. If I could smell Wanda's biscuits I could be sure.

Haha, when we came in there is was slick all the way up to the bridge and then the bottom dropped out. I called them on the radio saying "hey I can't see so good out here, is there anything I might run into?"

"Just the rock jetties and a couple markers cap!"

Miss Wanda was a great host -- sent us a thankyou card if I remember.

I'm not cruising, but it's nice out here at the dock in the hammock. With my friend, cheap wine.

One of my favorites, I can't take the credit, my wife took it. We were near Marathon en route from Little Shark River.

Since we're doing sunrises, here's one from a couple of weeks ago.

Traveled to the Abacos and Exumas a few times in the past few years. Photo ops there come almost every minute.

Fog running down Carquinez Strait (part of San Francisco Estuary); photo taken at the mouth of Napa River.

That's a beautiful shot Mark.

I'm so impressed by all the excellent photos taken by members. We have some real artists in our midst!

Adagio nestled for the night between the dolfins at the Franklin Lock

Was there last week for a couple of nights. Very nice protected anchorage. Like to kayak Telegraph creek which is just below it and Hickley creek which is just above the lock.

macp: Thanks for your comments: Therapi-Too's sister was a 1963 steel single screw aft cabin that we owned for 37 years, called Therapi. Both names were provided by my girls as they knew that managing a boat was my "therapy" given my daily job. We raised three children on her and put over 4000 hrs on her crusader 427 with one rebuild. It may seem strange, but given her age, notwithstanding that she was in good running order, she had no market value so I gave her to a young family in 2012 and she is still named "Therapi ". That family have cruised her every summer. Pictures are her leaving for her new home which was some 400 miles from her berth in Owen Sound. She did not have any failures during or sense that trip.
