When I pull into an anchorage with lots of other boats, I'm sometimes looking for information and sometimes I have some. Many places have Cruiser Nets (usually CH72 at 0900) already established, with a moderator and an exchange of information about things to do, items for sale, items wanted, help needed, etc.
Why not try it in other places? Get on CH72 at 0900 and ask if anyone else is on the Cruiser's Net? I'll be on in Vero Beach today and tomorrow.
