Something to putt around my lake with versus cruising.

Cockpit looks like a torture device.

Nimble sailboats have a cult following as long distance pocket cruisers. An efficient way to travel, but way to small for my tastes.

I like it. But it sure is light. And I bet it would be hot as hell in the summer, particularly in Chawlstun.

Maybe that's why it is called the Artic. That boat needs to be further north and west...

I'll stick with my McGregor 26M. It is a nice looking trailer sailer though.

Basically the same power to weight ratio as my Willard. 1/4 of the weight .. 1/4 of the power. Should burn 1/4 of the fuel but a gas OB means the fuel burn will be between 1/2 hph to 3/4 gph ... probably closer to the latter.

For a trailerboat it looks like a lot of capability. I've seen lesser boats run the coast to Alaska and back. Very flat on the bottom. Pounding and minimal directional stability may be part of the package. Lee boards may help.

Well you asked ...
