Concrete boats?

Greetings,
As an offshoot from one of Ms. GG's threads, someone mentioned concrete boats. Just saw this and thought.....implications for a do-it-yourself hull? Episode of Dragon's Den?

I can picture the advert now: "Boat in a bag - just add water". I'm not sure how to get around the steel reinforcement normally used in ferro-concrete hulls though!

Isn`t a concrete tent a house? Not that you`d want to live in that one.
There is a series of ferro-cement racing sailboats here named "Ragamuffin". One was often called "The Flying Footpath" (?sidewalk to you), it was fast downwind.

Greetings,
Mr. B. What else can a 13 year old do while he's sitting in his mom's basement?

At 13, I would have been scouring the internet as well....but for different subject matter.

Actually, I'm 46 now and nothing much has changed

When I was 13, there was no internet, and Bill Gates was one year old.
