Following the DUDE’s courageous Gulf Stream crossing from the storm-ravaged Abaco Islands, his faithful (but injured) motor-sailor “Bijou” awaits disposition as she wallows dismasted in a Stuart, FL boatyard marina. Some would say she has lost her “Mojo”, but Dude wants to bring her back to her former self and beyond.

Placed on the table for the Dude’s consideration are TF member suggestions like a more massive, intimidating mast with towering crows nest, flanked by huge faux sat domes (neuticles), big enough to attract salutes even among the egos of Ft. Lauderdale!

It has been rumored that Dude could be in talks with providers of large, commercial “inflatable” neuticles which, in an instant, could be inflated to balloon far beyond the size of neighboring neuticles in the same marina.

What would you like to see happening in Bijou’s refit? Perhaps a telescoping mast or fully enclosed crows nest (like pic below). And remember, it’s not your money!

Massive rotating free standing mast with a wing instead of sails. Actually three so she'd have to power to plane that round bottom of hers.

I mean, we're all in agreement that a stripper pole should be included, right?

...right?

Bijou does not "wallow."

And it is an insult to suggest she does.

Bijou is a proud vessel which has come through more than many other mortal vessels or people have.

Bijou may be down, but she is not out. She will arise as she once was, as recognizable as she was before!

Bijou Dilly Dilly!
