Nordhavn Film Festival

Did a quick search and have not seen this posted yet, if it has please disregard.

Very interesting and entertaining take on an awards show for Nordhavn owner created films, excellent stuff and brilliant advertising idea by the company:

They do have individual videos also posted if you have limited time

There are also a handful of video submissions posted on YouTube by Nordhavn, which did not make the final cut of 10, I believe.

I just saw that pop up in my youtube feed a little while ago. I started watching it, but gave up after skipping quickly through.

There was a time when I really fancied owning a Nordhavn. They're really impressive boats, no doubt about it. The 46 was my first real boat crush, and will always have a place in my heart. Now though... I just don't think I'd fit in with that crowd.

Waste of time! Cute girl though. I'd rather watch the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally video from 2004 in SD anyday over that.

Nordhavn has the marketing stuff down cold. Engage owners to participate in their travels and adventures. A friend of mine took delivery of a N78 last year. His daughter made the video that was submitted. I don't think it got any recognition but they had a great time at the black tie affair put on by Nordhavn. Lots of happy owners, interacting and probably doing biz. I applaud the Leishmans

That’s probably the major reason I don’t fit in with the modern Nordhavn (or KK for that matter) owners groups. I’m the black t-shirt type, not the black tie type.

The event looked a bit pretentious and stuffy but the videos were pretty cool.
As mentioned Nordhavn gets an A+ for keeping their owners evolved and competitive with each other regarding the upkeep of their boats.
I dont know of any other builder that goes to these lengths and gets this kind of participation of owners.
The neat thing about the group is no matter what boat or size it is, if you own one your part of the club.

But that's really not what the owners are like. The whole black tie thing was all part of a goof on the hollywood awards garbage. It's actually a very down-to-earth crowd. We were afraid it would be Biff and Muffy, but not at all. The N76 owner that Sailor of Fortune mentions is a great example.
