It was busy (at least for here) this afternoon at the Mare Island Causeway Bridge. Four southbound (downriver) motorboats and an engine-powered sailboat as well as a northbound sailboat needed passage at the same time. One boater gave a muttered call to the bridge tender. I had to make a proper call as it seemed I was the only one "expert" enough having done it twice before. (Geez, and I was fourth in line.) The upriver-bound sailboat said to the effect "me too." The bridge tender responded he'd lift the bridge after a pedestrian finished crossing.
All the boats aren't pictured here.
By the way, the weather was bee-you-tuh-full today on the Napa River.
