Boat in trouble

I read about this boat, wondering how he is going, and thought about how different it is boating in these parts in comparison to cruising in the USA or Europe. No Sea Tow or dial-a-rescue; We just have to deal with it and help each other out as much as possible.

Yes, that can be a pretty wild and lonely part of the world to be sailing solo in.

I have been out there, when the winds come out of the East it can be very sloppy. Sounds like he got lucky, it's also a very rocky shore.
