You guys are missing the big picture; you and your families were immigrants once too.

I was in a mall in Richmond (next to Vancouver) a few years ago, and noticed I was the only person of European decent there...everybody else was of Asian decent. The first thought that came to my mind was, "Oh, so this is how First Nations people feel".

Funny, I was tied up next to Maverick in Port Orchard this past weekend. Fascinating boat.

Lake Pleasant, AZ, Nov 10, 2015 on our Boston Whaler 13'. 78*, no wind, no clouds, beached in a secluded cove and just relaxing. Life is good.

West,
I lived in the West End Vancouver some time ago. I remember the address .. 1831 Robson st. Was on the east side of the street 1/2 a block no. of Denman Place. Was on the 5th floor east side so had a good view. I can hardly wait to get back up there and eat at a specific Korean resturant.

I was in your old hood this afternoon. Stanley Park/Lost Lagoon is my second home.

The green and white Victory Tug Minot's Light was on our dock for a number of years. It was purchased new by a fellow back east, hence the name. As It was told to us, he later gave it to his son who lived out here and had the boat shipped out here for him.

It was sold some years ago and was moved to the other basin in our harbor. It was there for a few years but now does not seem to be in the harbor anymore unless it's in a slip we can't see.

The VT37 is still one of our all-time favorite designs.

The son was a friend from work, and he took the the photo of my previous boat, the Jeanneau SO 35 with the spinnaker at the same time I took the pix of his boat.
