Well this was a repeat offender that had been issued warnings previously. So I guess that the company got what it deserved.

I am far from a tree hugger however based on the story they still got off cheap. Some (not all of) the guys operating these boats need to wake up. And the owners need to set strict policies.

Oily bilge water that was discovered 1000 feet from the source. This is the polite way of saying several gallons of oil was pumped overboard.
