Bed sheets/ Great Harbour N37

Yea I know. But it’s important that we don’t guess.
On a Great Harbour N37. Bed sheet size for salon seating when converted to bed. Anyone have experience?
Close to closing. Early next week. Real logistics challenge between Texas And Mass.. but it’s coming along.
Sea trial went very well. Couple maintenance items to tend to before departing.
Will update soon.

Measure it if you can. If you can’t just buy a full flat sheet and tuck the corners in!

Then buy a king. You can always cut it and put a hem on it or just tuck it under.

Yes, buy a big size and cut them to fit and sew in hems. We have done this on several boats and were really happy with the results.

Bed sheets/ Great Harbour N37

The salon bed is 87" by 59". My wife uses queen sized sheets and a pillow top.

Which boat are you purchasing? I think that our N37 was the only one built with a booth style dinette (78" x 55") and a queen size sheet works well.

Okay, I just answered my own question. You are buying Jack of Hearts, Hull #2 in the N37 line, Semper Fi is Hull #6. Coincidentally, both boats are featured in past lives on the N37 page of the Great Harbour website (see photo below). Looking at the listing photos for your boat, the width of the dinette at the aft end is the same as ours, but it appears that when set up, the length may be slightly longer. I don't think you can go wrong with a queen size fitted bottom sheet as a queen size mattress at 80" x 60" is two inches longer than our dinette.

New Topic: I highly urge to join the Great Harbour Trawler Association (GHTA). It is for current owners, past owners and anyone who just likes Great Harbour Trawlers. There is a wealth of corporate knowledge available to you and odds are that if you are having an issue on your boat, someone else has already been there, done that and got the t-shirt. Please PM me for more details.

Thank y’all

Thank you all who contributed.
Special thanks to Island Bound and Scout.
We are the owners as of today. Yay!
We make a final flight from Texas to Massachusetts where she lay on the Taunton river. Prep and provision for the trip back. Been studying up on all the waterway guides Bob423, cap. Bob etc. Aqua map is great!
We are used to our Texas Coast ICW. But east coast will offer some challenges.
Plus a few short offshores.
We look forward to it.
We will eventually head out on the loop and back to the Bahamas.
We are also recovering sailors and spent a year and a half in the eastern Caribbean in a past life. But the southern Bahamas and exhuma chain were some of our favorite places.
We leave behind our beloved Nordic Tugs 32. “Spirit” , With 6 years of adventures aboard her. Now for sale.
The N37 wi be re-christened “Spirit”.

Carol is signing us up on the GHTA site as we speak. Hope we’re accepted in to the family.
Now the work starts.

Also...she is hull #27. Second in the line of N37s. Formerly “Jack of Hearts”
The image of the name is still evident on the jelcoat. May compound out some.

Congratulations Russ and Carol! You have purchased what I think is probably the easiest sub 40' trawler ever made to call home. Karen and I have been aboard Semper Fi since July 2014 and have never felt cramped or constrained by a lack of space. We looking forward to meeting up with you. If you decide to come through the Keys on you way to Texas, please let us know.

Regards,

Richard
