Have any of you been to the Bay of Quinte in the recent past? We are leaving Wilson, NY on Wednesday July 29 and heading to Kingston Ontario to travel the Rideau Canal to Ottawa and current weather conditions favor a crossing to Presque Isle Bay through the Murray Canal to the Bay of Quinte. Have heard from some cruisers that the bay has been overgrown with algae the past few years and I'm just curious as to what we might expect. Anyone with recent experience would be a great help as to your thoughts. As always, thanks in advance for your advice!
