Bahamas Boat

Buying a 40' Heritage East in the Bahamas. Any recommendations for local surveyor and boat mechanic and carpet installer for that area? We're probably taking it to Fort Lauderdale, so carpet installer in Fort Lauderdale would be okay.

Donít have any info on the Bahamas, but good luck with your purchase. Keep us informed on how it goes.

I think the island chain is about 400 miles long, so where in the Bahamas may be relevant.

Was down there two weeks ago surveying as the buyer could not find a local acceptable to his insurance co. You may have to fly someone in from Florida.

From a seller's standpoint are there adequate number of buyers looking here as might be in say major SE FL city area? If no boat price should reflect same...finding repair skills readily available and reasonably priced? Survey travel expense? Lots to think about....
