Any Eagle 40 Owners Out There?

A couple of months ago I posted a thread about sedan/europa options. I received a lot of good observations and advice. In my search I came upon the Transpac Eagle 40. I think this may be the one. After being shot down on 2 different listings on YW I have found a FSBO that I will be making an offer on. This boat has the FRP fuel tanks. My question is, if you own one what are the highs and lows of your ownership experience. Also, has anyone transported this boat OTR and if so what are the height specs I need to give a prospective shipper?

Any input, comments, or suggestions would be most appreciated.
