Almost a Trawler Owner

OK, Just wanted to let everyone know that I have found a WONDERFUL 81 Marine Trader. Offer accepted. Loan approved. Survey to be done next week. Hopping to close around July 7th. Then spend a few days on the boat with the PO and take her about 125 miles down the ICW to her new home. The boat is in great shape and has everything I was looking for in a new to me trawler. It's my first.

I want to thank everyone for their advice over the past few months while I was looking. I'm sure I will need a lot more advice in the future.

Hoping all goes well. Just don't let your excitement take you too far yet. The survey is still an important part and you need to be prepared for it's results which could lead you to comfort in your purchase, to seeking a price reduction to cover concerns found, or to walk away. Just don't let your hope and desire overrule the survey findings. Again, hoping the survey says all is great.
