Our new to us 1987 Marine Trader has a dark wood (teak or mahogany) paneling. We noticed after a light cleaning with Murphy’s Oil Soap solution that the color is streaked. Looks like someone took a rag with a strong solvent and un-evenly wiped the interior panel. Paneling is veneer over plywood.

Anyone else seen this?

Any suggestions to fix?

That is what one of my panels looks like after the window leaked un-fixed by a previous owner for a while. The streaking was caused by fresh water running down it over time during various rain storms. Oiling the mahogany veneer helps obscure it.
