I know internal configuration is different and the length slightly different. Are they on the same hull? Displacement is listed the same. Both can have the 3208 cats. If they are on the same hull wouldn't performance, sea handling capability etc. be about the same? Did construction techniques change from one to the other either because of years difference or configuration change? Thanks

I have absolutely no clue but I do not believe they are on the same hull.....just a WAG....

Finally got back home to my powerboat guide. Baker you are correct in that they are a different hull . They used the 35 foot Motor yacht hull. Designer of that boat was B. Collier, yet the "designer" of the Convertible, (not a sedan as was told by broker) , is listed as J. Marshall. Not sure how that figures as to whose hull was used. Only built 1985-1987. Thanks
