Just a note to let folks know that the Shawl Bay Marina, located in Shawl Bay, Broughton Islands area, BC Canada is open for business.

Contrary to rumor, the marina is operating and offers moorage, water, power, laundry and showers, wifi, and fresh bakery products. A pancake and coffee breakfast is included with moorage. The owners, Lorne and Shawn Brown welcome all boaters. A BYO happy hour starts at 5 PM daily on the party float. On each Sunday thru Aug they host a fish chowder or deep fried turkey dinner. The marina answers on VHF 66A.

We have been stopping at this marina for a few years and enjoy meeting our boating friends there.

Larry we should have stayed longer at Shawl Bay. Didn't know Carol was a bead lady ... wasn't beady eyed .... Has nice big friendly eyes and hugs at times.
Eco Bay was pricey but nice and a bit interesting. We enjoyed our stay ther'e as well but if we had known about the flying ants we'd a never gone ther'e. We were pick'in those ants out of Willy for the rest of the trip.
How ya do'in w the shrimp?
And when are you comming back down. Weather's been great ..... A bit too hot actually for old Alaskans.
