Treasure Island warning

Perhaps this is old news, but exercise extreme attention to depth sounder in Clipper Cove at Treasure Island SF Bay. Charts show 14 feet of water where there is only 3 feet! Perhaps silting from the new Bay Bridge construction? Many vessels going aground....

Use your depth sounder for sure.
The NOAA charts show the shallow areas pretty well:

Thank you PJWhite. I've realized that my electronic chart is out of date! I'll get a current version....by the way, love the 32 woodie. that was my first trawler (hull 392) and one of the best boats ever IMHO. she took me from SF to LA and back on a couple of great adventures.
