Is this screwing up anyone's plans to head south for the winter?
I'm on Lake Champlain, hoping the Champlain Canal will open by Columbus Day when we start for St Augustine. High water should go down by then.
The Erie sounds like there was damage done during Irene's flood. Rumor only has it the canal may not open at all this fall.
