A little help from our friends...

Encountered a couple of logs floating on glassy Lake Michigan yesterday. They were easy to spot thanks to sea gulls hitching rides.

And then there is the occasional floating piling or board.

Consider yourself fortunate to have gulls on your side. Here, seagulls can help one from grounding on shallows in the middle of Suisun Bay.
