Are you adding any freeing ports? You have a huge welldeck now so safety dictates freeing ports.

I can cut some in. Does a side door with space under the door count? I looked up the area requirements thanks to your post but didn't really understand what it said. I'll look some more when I get home, hard to research in the phone. We were discussing something similar this morning so the lines could pass through to keep them off the rail

Well, the back is spent and I only got half of what I wanted to do done. I ran all the outside power 12v, speaker wires, two 110v power outlets and a wire for spreader light in the aft and above the windless. The panels for the ceiling in the aft deck are installed with hundreds of stainless screws, counter sunk ready for gel coat.

Thanks brother! I've had some great help. Quick work makes it tolerable when your stroking checks daily

Some front shots, panels have been worked some. I sure would like some suggestions on a texture I could put into the gel coat to cut down on the finish time on the ceilings. I'm going to start a new thread on this topic. Cool pictures from today!

Here are some progress shots, I think I'm going to put the shine to the ceiling. I have two electrical items hard wired, bilge pump and battery charger. Both quit! Go figure, is this a bad omen.

Greetings,
Mr. s. "Both quit! Go figure, is this a bad omen." Hell no man. It's a sign you need to sit back, snap a cap and do some cogitating as to what the problem may be. At the same time you can peruse your handiwork thus far and give yourself a pat on the back...

When I picked up the head I was talking with the owner, of Johnson diesel, and come to find out he knew the boat well. He said when he was in his 20's he helped install the fuel tanks and put the existing engines in. I tried to get him to come turn a few wrenches but he wasn't having any part of that. He said the 4 valve dd was an upgrade from the previous.

No doubt, I'll be using a chain fall to put it back on. Me and my brother lifted it out,I thought it was still bolted on!
