Perfect mate! Should have known you would have it covered.
That would look neat. Try standing at the helm and see where you find comfortable to hold on. In real life, it can be for several hours at a time so needs to feel natural but give plenty leverage.
Kind of mate. That handle is for something else but just placed it on there to see how it looked. I might get on the pipe bender and custom make a couple of grab bars. Was thinking I will make them the full length of curve of the helm station. Think they will look great running down either side

You mean for you and Flic... boat at anchor!!
Yes, Yes, Yes! Just make darn sure they can withstand the weight of a Rhino. If you ever get into really bad conditions it might not only be you holding tightly onto one of the bars for dear life...
I'll have to put some thought in for other places to put grab handles throughout the cabin including the toilet and shower
Last external ply piece fitted. Not quite like the Britannia's timber plug but I'm wrapped and I still feel like superman nevertheless. Really stoked

I've read this whole thread and despite having only just joined I still believe this build would probably outshine virtually anything here.I just can't get over the efffort you have put into this boat.I did work on the police Halvorsen,"Nemesis",and that cost in excess of 500k to refit, but the Axe blows that into the weeds.Guess that's what you get when you don't lose sight of the goal.Awesome work, mate.
The term "Boat Porn" comes to mind.
Great progress Matt, I see many a cocktails on that aft cockpit in the near future!
Now I'm astounded.I assumed you would have had a few on the way,but seems not.Once again, congrats.I hope to start on the clipper very soon, and I'm sure I'll be flicking over this build to keep me going. At least I don't have to rebuild the hull, but as for everything else.....
BTW are you intending to eat or burn food aboard,or is it a liquid vessel?
