The term "Boat Porn" comes to mind.

Great progress Matt, I see many a cocktails on that aft cockpit in the near future!

Hello mate.
Welcome and Thanks for reading the thread. I must commend you for reading all 88 pages. That's an effort for a newbie, and thank you for your kind words of support. They mean a lot. Do you have any pics of MV NEMESIS? If so, please post them up here. I'd love to see her as would everyone else.
Thanks again

Hendo's Randall 35 Cray Boat complete rebuild, Perth, Western Australia

Popped in after work and whacked on the bowsprit and glassed the external edges of the cabin as well as the seams. I have marked out for the three 500x500 roof hatches ( faint black lines if you zoom in ). I will cut them out tomorrow. I also fitted the 100x100x6 RHS Galv. Post (the one I made a few months ago) under the bowsprit, inside the anchor locker. This runs all the way down and bolts to the keel as well as being bolted to the bowsprit and cabin roof turning it in to a Samson post but Ive just popped some batten screws in to hold it in place for the moment. The top bollard will bolt to this post under and through the deck making it very sturdy for swinging off thanks to the SARCA EXCEL that Rex so generously gave me. Hope that makes sense

Now I'm astounded.I assumed you would have had a few on the way,but seems not.Once again, congrats.I hope to start on the clipper very soon, and I'm sure I'll be flicking over this build to keep me going. At least I don't have to rebuild the hull, but as for everything else.....

Yeh got a kitchen going in and a BBQ Grill going out the back. Tossing up the idea of putting a gas cooker inside but the refs over here are pretty Full on and I'd rather fry up shit on the BBQ outside while sinking some beers than see Flic inside at a cooker. Will have more bench space that way too. Fridge is on the opposite side next to the lounge/bed.

Where do I begin? Rest assured my build thread won't come close to the epic you have written, but let's just say I have taken some seriously insane jobs on and this is the next. She went for a swim.Twice in 2 weeks, but now she only gets wet inside when it rains.Phots will be up in a week or so,and will have Nemesis photos in 2 or so,due to wet computer and no backup.Problem is I have an appointment with a mate at 11.59 pm on 31/12/2015 in Lavender bay next to the harbour bridge in Sydney. She'll be right, bloke. That's six months away. All the time in the world.Good things come to those who work, not those who wait. You've already proven that.

Well today this afternoon I finished classing the bowsprit and the fwd cabin seams. I cut the holes for the hatches and cut there hatch plates for the hatches to sit on. I'll fit them off tomorrow. Two reasons for the plates but the main reason is I plan on making the whole cabin top a mattress/foam area to turn it into a sun bed (of sorts). The hatches are 50mm but the foam is 100mm and I want the hatches to sit just below the foam. Not looking like there are three holes with nothing in them so I made the plates which are 20mm which bring the hatches up but not too far so as to cause discomfort when on the beds.

You'll see what I mean come fitment of the cushions.

Lol. Luckily my mooring is a swing mooring so I can't really stuff up and crash into anything like I could if I had a pen.

This way I can practice and learn her before attempting to dock anywhere.

Made and Cut in the Fresh Water and Diesel filler neck mounting pods. Sanded the rear deck as well as the hull extension. Laid out the fibreglass cloth for the extension but ran out of time so will epoxy this on Monday afternoon. Dusty but good day.

Some international visitors that you may recognise arrived in Port this morning with some impressive toys sitting on the flight decks of "U.S. Warship - We will f**k you up"
