Wiper Motor gone out on 2000 Californian 39'

Hi - the wiper motor seems to have gone on the driver's side of my 2000 Californian 39'. The middle wiper still works although that's on a different 'dial' on the helm. Anybody had a similar issue solution?

Yes, just recently as a mater of fact. Turns out it was just a loose grounding wire at the motor.

My boat is not a Californian, but access to the wiper motors on my boat are through slide out panels in overhead. May not be the same as your boat.

Thanks for the info. Fortunately I found access behind the screen 'demister' casing which is held on with lots of heavy Velcro. Behind I found the culprit which was the positive line had separated from the motor. A new fitting and now it works great-thanks
