Autopilot

I have a 1981 34ft Californian with an old Benmar Cetec 21r autopilot. I would like to upgrade. Has anyone upgraded and if so which type of pilot did you choose?

Why do you want to replace it, broken, not shiny enough, money to burn?

If it needs replacing look at what commercial operators use.
In Australia TMQ is a favoured brand.

If it is broken you can find Benmar repair on a search engine and the original guys still repair or rebuild them. I did that a couple of years ago to my Viking and it worked like it should. Just takes a little thinking, but follows a course perfectly!
