This is the critical part. It WILL take more, likely much more than EUR 100,000 to get into good condition. That's why people are saying accept the EUR 25,000 offer.

Just get a local boatyard/shipwright to give you a cost estimate. Until you have direct experience you have absolutely no idea how fast the bills add up and how much money a boat with deferred maintenance will cost. No need to ask me how I now know.

ollko, I sense the family attachment but you need to be objective about the boat. To do that, put yourself in the position of a potential buyer. The boat needs major renovation and restoration, if you have someone willing to pay 25000Euros to take on the project,I encourage you to accept it.

The moisture damage in the pics looks easily fixed. The rest of the boat in the pics looks pretty sharp. I think you could do better than 25k euros.
