Quintrex has built these near indestructible aluminium/aluminum outboard powered boats for many years. You see them on transom hung davits,more durable but not as popular as inflatables which won`t scratch your boat. Quintrex make larger more elaborate versions too, but the simple 10-12ft tinny,for fishing or as a tender, is pretty much an institution here.
(Let`s overlook for present purposes what seems absent safety equipment, it`s an advert after all)

Well I like the price. I had to check that it was current, rather than an old ad you found when cleaning out your desk! Compared to a RIB its a bargain.

Add to that the problem of saltwater crocodiles in northern Australia reportedly using RIB's as 'teething rings' and I really ought to get one. Damnit, I thought I had finished with this years R&M before going north!
